​Alice Albertazzi and Gianfranco Romanelli started their collaboration playing together in the Italian psych band Alix. With this past project they've made 5 albums, including "Ground" recorded in 2004 by David Lenci and "Good 1" recorded in 2009 by Steve Albini. In 2012 they performed as opening act for Shellac at the club Paradiso in Amsterdam and at the English festival All Tomorrow's Parties sharing the stage with bands such as Neurosis, Shellac, Red Fang, Uzeda and many more. Alice Tambourine Lover was born in 2011 and in just 3 years they've released 3 albums for Go Down Records: "Naked Songs" (2012), "Star Rovers" (2013) and "Like A Rose" (2015). The latest album contains 2 unreleased tracks by Dandy Brown (Hermano, Orquesta Del Desierto) and John Garcia (Kyuss, Unida, Hermano) and the cover artwork is signed by Californian photographer Ed Ross. The film directors Iris Elezi and Thomas Logoreci chose 2 of their songs for the soundtrack of the film "Bota Cafè": "Hungry Thieves" (by Alice Tambourine Lover) and "The Sweet Smelling-Roads" (by Alix). Their 4th album "Down Below" is out now via Go Down Records, on vinyl and digital.
